When we started our tests of this cream from Dr. Jart, we wanted to make sure we give it a fair chance. We also wanted to look at the product comprehensively, starting from the packaging and, of course, the actual cream itself.
Premium Packaging?
It makes use of solid colors and a minimal-style label design to stand out from the crowd.
The packaging of a moisturizing cream might not be important to its actual use. In fact, it is not important at all. BUT it is easy to find in a pinch.
It is also attention to detail like these that shows a company truly cares and believes in its products. They go the extra mile to make it look like what it is – a premium, well-made product. More often than not, this level of passion and attention to detail is a good sign.
Now on to the stuff that actually matters.
Superb Moisturizing
The results were fantastic. The cream goes deep into your skin, moisturizing from within. You can instantly feel the difference. The cream itself is very rich and creamy, so you have to be sure to warm it by rubbing your hands together prior to application.

How to Use
Using the Ceramidin cream for Dr. Jart is super easy too. However, the best way to use Ceramidin cream is to have a complete skincare routine.
Firstly, you would want to rinse your skin. After you would ideally want to apply the moisturizing toner from Dr. Jart, but you can go directly to the cream itself as well. The toner has quite a runny texture and basically preps your skin for the cream.
Then you would want to apply the Ceramidin cream itself. To apply it correctly, squeeze a bit of cream on your hands, then rub your hands together and warm it to counter the thickness.
Gently start pressing down on your face. This will help you make the best of your skincare routine and helps the cream get absorbed quicker. You will notice that even though it is rich and creamy, it isn't greasy at all.

Now from what we have gathered of the MANY reviews out there, there were really only a couple of key complaints or issues in the RARE non-5 star ratings.
I don’t feel the positives are needed here, and you're reading this to find out the nitty-gritty, so that's what we are gonna give you. Clinical Smell - The most common complaint was about the smell, which for us it didn't seem bad at all compared to most skin creams, and it didn’t last long. Too Thick - Now anyone that actually reads the “How to Use” section of this post should know what they did wrong here. WARM IT prior to use. Non-Issue, in our opinion and is due to not using it properly.
Hydration - Let's be honest here; this stuff works for hydration. Is it the best? We don’t know just yet, but it absolutely hydrates and lasts a good long time as well.
Irritations - As with most skin products with a LOT of ingredients, there are possibilities for allergies to affect people. Be sure to do a spot test to find out, and you will be fine. If you know the ingredients that affect you, then scroll to the bottom and look through the list provided. (This was a very rare issue, but important to mention)
Other Rare Negatives - Not as good as “X” product, too pricey, causes blemishes.
